Twin and triplet pregnancies are often more complicated than singleton pregnancies, and many parents who have been through fertility treatment may feel overwhelmed by the prospect of raising multiples (you were struggling to fall pregnant with one, and now your dreams have been doubled or tripled!).
Newcastle Multiple Birth Club (NMBC) offers support to expectant parents of twins or triplets who have fallen pregnant through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) or In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
You may be concerned that your twins and triplets may experience some additional complications after undergoing fertility treatment, so connecting with other parents who have gone through the same experience can be very helpful.
Additionally, NMBC can provide you with information about risks and complications you may face during pregnancy, as well as tips on how to cope.
The Newcastle Multiple Birth Club acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Awabakal, Wonnarua, Worimi and Darkinjung Aboriginal peoples of where our club meets.
